NAP utilizes pesticides
extensively as removal of healthy, non-native plants is very labor-intensive. Were
the NAP to be restricted to a few small locations perhaps this could be avoided, however their desire to monopolize some 1,102
acres of our parklands will result in extensive use of pesticides such as Roundup. This
is very damaging to the environment, especially when it is used along the banks of bodies of water so that the water carries
pesticide residue which can harm all wildlife drinking or living within and around the water.
